Our PROTECT platform technology with University of California, Berkeley hopes to pave the way for smarter, more effective infection therapies by understanding the perfect combination of good bacteria & growth conditions. https://lnkd.in/eSFJyGC4 This contract is one of multiple research projects receiving funding. Defeating Antibiotic Resistance through Transformative Solutions (DARTS) and Transforming Antibiotic R&D with Generative AI to stop Emerging Threats (TARGET) are earlier AMR-related projects. We continue to seek groundbreaking innovations for health research through the Mission Office Innovative Solution Openings. Continued support of each award is contingent on projects meeting aggressive milestones, typical to the ARPA-H process. https://lnkd.in/dnqVK3SV

ARPA-H was in Denmark last week! Our delegation, led by Director Renee Wegrzyn was there to learn more about the country’s approach to health innovation, including its unique approach to public-private partnerships across sectors and its effective integration of data into clinical care and public health. We were inspired by Denmark’s collaborative models for R&D and investment, as well as how trust between partners enables innovation in health and health care. Over three and a half days, ARPA-H leadership participated in a panel discussion on global approaches to public-private partnerships at the Tour de Health conference, toured the University of Copenhagen and State Serum Institute, and deepened their understanding of how health data is used for health R&D and health care in Denmark. We are grateful to Healthcare Denmark for inviting us to Copenhagen, and for such a warm reception and insightful conversations across the board! Thanks to everyone who spent time with us during our time there: U.S. Embassy in the Kingdom of Denmark, Tour de Health, Healthcare Denmark, Novo Nordisk Foundation, Danish National Genome Center, BioInnovation Institute, Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, Innovation Fund Denmark, AmCham Denmark, Rigshospitalet, Lundbeck, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Statens Serum Institut, Sundhedsdatastyrelsen, DTU - Technical University of Denmark, and the University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet); Denmark in USA.
