Congratulations to our COO Heidi S. for being named Best Operations Staff. We are all thankful for Heidi’s leadership and support! Congratulations to Director of Strategic Initiatives Jasmine Nears on being named State Focused MVP! Jasmine’s work in Wisconsin made it possible to flip the state Supreme Court majority! The America Votes State Summit was named best convening, and the AV Coordination Console was named best data tool! Thank you to everyone who voted for us to win these honors, and to everyone who works with us to make progress possible.

America Votes is proud to partner with organizations to advance equality and freedom for every American in June and year round. At a time when attacks on the LGBTQ+ community is facing unprecedented attacks, the work of these partners is even more important. Our coalition stands with organizations including Human Rights Campaign, Equality Federation, and LGBTQ+ Victory Fund in working to ensure that LGBTQ+ voices are represented in our democracy. We must elect leaders who are committed to preserving freedoms for all. At the state level, organizations like Equality Florida, Equality Michigan, and Georgia Equality are on the frontlines pushing back against anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ legislation. During #Pride and beyond, we will not stop working to build a reflective democracy where all people have the freedom to live and love authentically. 

America Votes leaders were honored to be part of celebrating Juneteenth and Black Music Month at the White House. This #Juneteenth, we celebrate the progress our nation has made toward fulfilling the promise of freedom for every American, and we rededicate ourselves to the work of expanding freedoms for all.

This month and year-round, we work to build a democracy is reflective of all Americans. We are proud that our coalition includes organizations elevating Asian American and Pacific Islander voices. Our partners including Asian American Power Network, AAPI Victory Alliance, and AAPI Victory Fund empower AAPI voters with the information they need to cast their votes. At the state level, partners like Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance (API PA) and Asian American Advocacy Fund are activating voters around the issues that matter most to our communities. Asian Americans must be represented in our government, and we are committed to ensuring that these voices are heard.
