Thank you to everyone who attending this week's "Steering Your Brand Through Social and Political Turbulence", a special panel event featuring #Pittsburgh area #marketing and #communications experts discussing practical strategies for #brand #management in uncertain times, while addressing the challenges posed by current events, AI, and increasing regulations. Here are some take aways from the session: George Potts shared why Patagonia's government relations chair was moved to Pittsburgh, and a few stories of other brands taking a stand. Cooper Munroe highlighted the challenges of a hyper fast social media and news cycle and the ethical issues surrounding #AI deep fakes. Shannon Baker-Meyer reminded us that we should all strive to be 'learn-it-alls' rather than 'know-it-alls.' Jeff Krakoff shared how Dick's Sporting Goods successfully navigated their move to remove guns from their stores. Our panel was moderated wonderfully by Dror Yaron, who set quite a stage for an inspiring conversation.
