APS is a global leader in aircraft propeller system maintenance services, aerospace manufacturing and airframe trading. Founded in 1953 with 5 employees servicing the US Midwest's general aviation community, we have grown to over 90 employees serving air carriers, OEMs, MROs, and asset managers worldwide. At our 46,000 square foot facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois, which is located 30 miles from Chicago-O’Hare International Airport (ORD), our technical staff with over 500 years of combined aviation experience use modern technology to perform all critical maintenance processes under the same roof. In addition, APS also has facilities in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Malaysia. APS is an authorized repair facility for major propeller OEMs including: Hamilton Sundstrand, Hartzell, McCauley, MT-Propeller, Ontic, Sensenich, Woodward, and Aero Technologies. In August, APS welcomed 18 additional employees to the Asia Pacific facility, with a week of onboarding projects and some impactful community service work at a senior living facility. As part of the onboarding process, the team was shown what it takes, and how we will build the region's finest Propeller MRO. It all starts with team spirit and a commitment to Customer satisfaction. In the coming weeks and months, the Asia Pacific (APSAP) team will build out the robust systems and processes that APS is synonymous with. Uncompromising quality, OEM caliber repair capabilities, and reliability are engrained in every facet of our business. This new center of excellence will be no exception. We cannot forget the management team that made this all possible.
