RST 130 students were pleased to welcome 2017 graduate Tristan J. Nelson back to Huff Hall this morning (virtually). Tristan is presently the Manager of Corporate Sponsorships for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He shared the highlights of his Illini journey, opportunities related to working for a small-market NBA franchise and challenged us to be creative in the activation processes.   Thank you for your valuable time, and continued support of the Department of Recreation, Sport, and Tourism at Illinois. After a career in radio and the NFL, he returned to Champaign and is presently a Charitable Relations Specialist for Busey.
