Project Milestone Alert! Last week, our project team reached another major milestone at The New Terminal One at JFK, completing the unique "bow tie" feature on the roof of the departures hall. This innovative element, part of the terminal's sustainable design, enhances the flow of natural light into the terminal. It creates a stunning first impression for travelers and ensures that natural light filters through to departures level and retail floors without causing any issues with reflection and glare on screens at airline counters and kiosks. The topping out of the brand-new Rock Center Hotel at 32 West 48th Street! The 33-story hotel in Midtown Manhattan, designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Extell, is a 427-foot-tall tower that will span 226,000 square feet, include 529 guest rooms, and feature multiple restaurants and bars.
