We at #TeamADV were honored yesterday to welcome Kara Lawson, head coach of the Duke University women’s basketball team, Olympic gold medalist and WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) champion. Coach Lawson was kind enough to spend some time with our teammates, sharing her wisdom about leading with courage, conviction and resilience — especially in times of change. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Coach Lawson speak multiple times now, and I can tell you that every time, I’ve walked away inspired. Her message to our team yesterday again resonated in a deep way with me, and I suspect the same is true for many of my colleagues. With more than 70,000 teammates at Advantage Solutions, our life experiences and perspectives are as diverse and distinct as you can imagine. And we are better for it, and together we’re all striving to work and win together as one team, One Advantage. Lefty, the Hamburger Helper “helper,” was on hand this week as our Canadian team represented Advantage Solutions at Grocery Innovations Canada, the largest conference and expo for grocery retailers and CPG companies in Canada.
