This #WorldDiabetesDay, we’re focusing on how diabetes impacts communities worldwide, especially those struggling with food insecurity. Limited access to healthy food can increase both the risk and severity of diabetes. Raising awareness and access to resources is key to fighting this disease. We partnered with the Latin American Association to share a Spanish video, where Vanessa and special guest Melisa Nichols discuss insights about diabetes, a delicious recipe, and resources from the Latin American Association’s free diabetes prevention program. Happy World Vegan Day! 🌱 Today, we're proud to highlight our incredible partner, FEEDING GA FAMILIES. Since 2018, Alicia Rivera and her dedicated team have been serving vegan and allergy-sensitive food options to those in need, making sure everyone in our community feels supported. "We don't have clients, we have families. So, once they come through our doors, they're part of our family now. We look out for each other", said Rivera.
