Recruiting with a purpose! Over 700 civilian jobs were filled in FY24 at Edwards, with over 140 of those being within #engineering. Despite this growth, the Wing is anticipated to need over 1500 more civilian #Airmen in the coming 36 months to maintain pace with our program portfolios in flight test. 412th Medical Group Strengthens Southern California Partnerships. 🤝 The team recently embarked on a journey throughout Southern California to connect with fellow DHA medical facilities to better understand capabilities, foster meaningful connections, and identify opportunities for collaboration. This included visits to #Navy Hospital 29 Palms and Branch Health Clinic at NAS China Lake, both remote and isolated installations similar to Edwards. The 412th Medical Group continues to work with our Wing and #USAF planning leaders to find unique #healthcare solutions for our #Airmen.

One team, one fight... all TEST. Recently, our #USAF Reserve 370th FLTS teamed up with Nellis AFB Operational Test F-15 Strike Eagles during a multi-domain mission over the Pacific. This also allowed for fantastic aerial refueling training as the teams test new technology in an era of Global Power Competition. #AFMC Air Combat Command | Air Force Test Center | Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center

Focus on #Resilience: Chief Master Sgt. Jermaine King obtains doctorate degree "My family and the #Airmen were my inspiration. I came from the inner city, where you did not have many options in life. When I graduated from high school, I wasted my college opportunities. I did not take any of it seriously. I joined the #USAF to escape the environment I grew up in, and a second opportunity was given to me with Tuition Assistance and Air Force Credentialing Opportunities On-Line" notes King. After years of dedication and passion King has a doctorate degree in education. He was selected in 2023 as a President Bush Institute Leadership Scholar and attended a dinner with the President and First Lady for his work with local, state, and federal leaders to help design initiatives to help military veterans.
