The easiest way to get started is to watch some youtube videos from Andreas Antonopoulos. Andreas is one of the most knowledgeable and easy to understand subject matter experts. His best content is pre 2018 and it is even more relevant today.

To get started with digital currencies, follow these steps: 1. Research: Understand different cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. 2. Choose a Wallet: Select a secure digital wallet to store your cryptocurrency. 3. Select a Platform:

First understand the basics of Bitcoin(First crypto ever) and then understand Ethereum (Most widely used crypto). Then know Bitcoin is "Tide that lifts all boats", which means once bitcoin increases in value high market cap cryptos will as well. Since your a beginner, don't invest until the Bitcoin 50 day ema crosses its 200 day ema(estimated). For a beginner, knowing exactly what the ema theoretically is not important, just ask a search engine "Has the BTC 50 day ema crossed the 200 day ema?" It will simply say "Yes" at this time. If your in the USA, download Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, and Binance.US. Look through the top 50 projects and learn. Then invest a little bit and be patient and don't be afraid if market goes down slightly.

Trust is tough in this space (& everywhere). Coindesk has been a great source of news reporting for me over the years and more recently I've become a big fan of the team at Blockworks - they're probably the largest part of my info-diet currently. Andreas Antonopoulos was a pioneer in Bitcoin and blockchain education. A true missionary. Highly recommend for questions like "How do I know it's safe?" and "Can Bitcoin be hacked?".

To really understand the value of digital assets/currencies you first need to understand the value of Bitcoin. To really understand Bitcoin, you need to understand the history of money and todays financial system. A great way to learn this is from 3 incredible books. 'The bitcoin standard' and 'the fiat standard' by Saifedean Ammous and 'broken money' by Lyn Alden. Otherwise, Andreas Antonopoulos is the best subject matter expert with easy to digest youtube videos.

CoinGecko app is the best source of information for figuring where to buy any crypto you are interested in and finding new cryptos in certain categories like RWA, Layer 1s, Layer 2s, ecosystem-based, defi, gaming, etc. TradingView app is a great source for visualizing the price moves in every crypto by exchange. My favorite feature is the fib retracement tool in it, simply you draw a line on the 1 day price chart at the lowest price point and trace to the highest price point, then these layers of transparent colors will form and look for the 0.618 layer, if the coin your looking has its price in the 0.618 zone; good entry level.

Try to get hands on with Bitcoin and its 2nd layer Lightning payment network. There are many good mobile wallets such a Phoenix Wallet, which can be used with small amounts and you can send a few units of Bitcoin around. Also I like the Blink Wallet (formerly the Bitcoin Beach Wallet) and Wallet of Satoshi. (Please note: I am not associated with these wallets or part of their teams.) Overall I would recommend to stay focused on Bitcoin as much as possible, and to use companies and service providers which are Bitcoin-only or very Bitcoijn/focused. Stay away from crypto casinos as much as possible. And do your own research!

My favourite part... USE IT!! I can sit here and tell you how much better managing my finances is 'on-chain' than 'off-chain' until I'm blue in the face. Truth is, we both know that'll likely go in one ear and out the other. Forget all that and try things out - it's the best way to learn! Go to the communities that are Blockchain forward if possible and learn from those that are implementing the best new practices for adoption and learning. Recently in Uvita Costa Rica that has the most density when it comes to #Bitcoin adoption and #elsalvador where Mi Primer Bitcoin has graduated 1500 students and made their course open source for 22 languages. There are new digital asset laws in El Salvador and even new ways to incorporate and have your company solely on Bitcoin (Prospera Honduras). The adoption of crypto in gaming and everyday life in southeast Asia is amazing. Learn about circular economies and how crypto is bringing life to regions that were once forgotten. Meet the people using it, not just trading it. Life changing.

Please be careful when entering the space! Don't believe all the hype, especially around crypto tokens, Ordinals and NFTs. Don't be greed driven. Be really diligent how you invest. Do your own research as much you possibly can. Avoid the noise, look for the signal. Don't trust. Verify.
