Perhaps even more impressive is the effectiveness of the silent-grind technology.
This grinder is astoundingly quiet, especially considering the 1700 RPM motor. The Atom W 65 also grants you easy access to the burrs for cleaning and maintenance, and because the stepless grind adjustments are made by raising and lowering the lower burr, cleaning the burrs won’t mess up your grind settings.
Eureka updated the housing for the Atom W line of grinders to improve stability while the powerful motor is in operation. They also upgraded the portafilter cradle for the same reason—you can now enjoy truly hands-free grinding without worrying that your portafilter will slip out mid-grinding .

Weight-Based Grinding
The ability to grind based on weight improves the accuracy of your doses. The Atom W 65 allows you to program up to 3 weight-based doses in 0.1g increments and features optional timed and manual grinding as well.
Upgraded Housing
To ensure stability while grinding, Eureka added about 5 lbs to the base as well as a more substantial portafilter cradle. The result is a sturdy grinder that won’t shift or drop portafilters while in use.
