To everyone affected by the 2024 Taiwan Earthquake (2024 0403 Hualien Earthquake),
　
On 3 April 2024, at around 8 am local time, there was a magnitude 7.2 earthquake with
its epicentre in eastern Taiwan. We would like to express our deepest
sympathies to the people of Taiwan and those in Taiwan who were affected by
the earthquake. The extent of the damage is expected to become clearer in
the near future, but we hear the passage of a weather front through the
area may complicate the rescue efforts. We pray for the safety of those
not yet accounted for and rapid recovery for the region.
