This episode's title is a reference to the band Electric Six. Lead-singer, Tyler Spencer shouts "Stop!" before "Continue!" in the song "Improper Dancing" featured on their first album, Fire. It has since become a notorious part of their live shows, allowing for a space where covers and other oddities can be performed within the song. Dick Valentine writes the songs featured over the end-credits of '"Bite Me' (2010)' and the series takes its name from a song on their second album, Senor Smoke.
