Goofs
In the opening, after the car hits the cyclist, and the driver jumps out of the car, the overhead shot shows the bicycle under the front bumper, seat near the driver's front wheel. After the driver gets back in the car and drives away, the bicycle is much further away from the car, facing a different direction, and laying on its other side.

Intricate story, well-done

A rather ingenious story begins with a murdered bike messenger, including fun twists and turns. Surprise for Trekkers is that Jonathan Frakes directed, expanding his universe beyond science fiction.

The plot is quite complicated and not amenable to capsule description but involves a wide-ranging cast of characters dating back to an old case handled by Beckett's boss Captain Montgomery.

It's nice to see him invovlved front and center for a change. Many loyal viewers may be unaware that the actor in this regular role is Ruben Santiago-Hudson, a leading figure on the theater scene in New York as director, playwright and actor.
