Pre-war screen legend Rosario Moreno appeared opposite Rogelio dela Rosa in Sampaguita Pictures' Lagot na Kuwintas. Rosario, the charming star of Tunay na Ina, one of the only five surviving pre-war movies, died in the bombing of Manila during the waning days of WWII, while Dela Rosa continued his movie career after the war, becoming one of the hottest and bankable stars of the post-war era.
