The ending scene is very similar to how in Superman: The Movie a young Clark throws the kryptonian crystal into the arctic, where it forms his Fortress of Solitude.

Goofs
While they are outside, it is raining, and Clark's shirt gets water marks on it. Then the shot pans to Lois and back to Clark, and the drops on his shirt have dried.

My favourite episode of smallville

This is literally the best episode. What can I say. The acting was the best acting of any show. The storyline was literally one of the best storyline in any show and it got executed and preformed perfectly. This episode is my favourite episode of smallville and my favourite episode of any show.
