The convent's variety show

Michael Antonio ( Manuel Padilla Jr., "American Graffiti"), a child in Sister Bertrille's class is overjoyed that his show business magician uncle Marko the Magnificent (character actor Victor Buono) is coming to visit. With the convent boiler broken, Sister Bertrille convinces Reverend Mother Placido to put on a show to raise money to repair it. Upon the magician's arrival, however, he is upset to find promotion for a show, as he only wishes to visit his nephew and rest. He finally consents under the condition of following supporting acts. Sister Bertrille forms a singing trio with sisters Jacqueline and Ana. Sister Ana nervously faints and the reverend mother takes her place. When Marko confesses that he has lost ability, Sister Bertrille tries to boost his confidence.

Trivia
Victor Buono (Marko) was unusual among gay performers of his era by openly living together with same-sex partners and referred to himself as a "conscientious objector" in the "morality revolution" of the 1960s.

Goofs
Lax direction? A few of the children in the audience are not applauding very enthusiastic. Especially note the black boy sitting behind Mother Superior who is barely tapping his fingers to his palms and later the Mexican girl sitting to his right who (at the end of levitating act) starts off clapping hard then tapers off to very slightly.
