Stephen Graham and Owen Cooper in Adolescence (2025)

Review by mr_sharma

Adolescence

10/10

Astonishing. Heartbreaking. Thought provoking.

This is one of the best things I have seen this year.

Not only is the writing so nuanced and thought out, it is aided by spectacular acting and incredible direction.

I mean it's a testament to this show that each of the episodes is done in one take BUT that does not detract from the the story.

Story. Story. Story.

It has something to say and it says it as bold as you like without banging your head with the message. It sinks in afterwards. Slowly and by God makes you want to talk about it with anyone else who has seen it.

It is done so well, that you can't help but binge watch this.

I didn't know anything about the story and I'm glad I didn't.

It will leave you speechless by the end.

Watch this.

Well done to Stephen Graham et al.

Bravo.
