A hot-tempered and emotional girl from a wealthy family arrives to study at the college where her sister used to study. Largely because of the latter's reputation, she managed to get into this prestigious institution, where order and idyll generally reign. Guided by vague ideas, she begins to make various intrigues for local students, gradually heating up the general degree of the surrounding environment, which will ultimately lead to sad consequences for herself.
Throughout the narrative, the heroine's general motivation remains rather vague. She cannot be called insane, and what could be called momentary revenge seems far-fetched. As a result, a rather pale canvas, not particularly saved by the presence of Alyssa Milano, in particular inferior in sum to "Poison Ivy: The New Seduction" (1996) with a mysterious figure in the person of Jaime Pressly.
The film is a re-imagining of the 1957 film "Sorority Girl".

I watched this tv movie a couple years ago and i havent seen it since then and unfortunately its not available on video. The movie is about a beautiful girl who goes after her roomates boyfriend and ruins a few lives along the way. However the way Jamie Luner plays her role you actually begin to root for her even when she's malicious. The setting is in the 1950s but looks so modern and cool. This is the perfect movie to watch on a hot summer day with a friend!
Sabrina Masterson: I'm sorry Mother, God was only able to create *one* perfect daughter for you, now you'll just have to suffer with me.
I will never figure out the MPAA. They rated this "R" and i expected to see an interesting movie about sorority girls.
Unfortunately, it was just a boring story about the lose sister (Jamie Luner) trying to live up to her big sister's reputation. She uses all sorts of sneaky tricks, including blackmail, to beat the popular girl (Alyssa Milano) and impress her mother.
Naturally, she is just a loser and will always be a loser, just as this picture is.

One night me and Jud had nothing better to do then drink and six pack and rent a movie (apologies to those Hardcore sXr edgers who think I am a loser for that). Being intelligent young lads we perused the store for an intelligent film which would arouse intellectual discourse. You know, something like waking life...instead we saw this and acknowledged that Alyssa Milano's cleavage looked pretty good. I always had a crush on her. Anyhow, this movie was completely satisfying. Sure it was retarded, but if you possibly purchase this expecting a good movie I think you should blame your own poor judgement. This movie featured numerous scenes with Alyssa Milano looking hot and Jamie Luner did not look bad either. I also like the 1950s private college/beach party setting. What a nice retro touch! Finally the climactic end scene could not be denied, I will not reveal it, I will only say that it was worth the wait.

After about two years of searching, I have finally found a copy of "Confessions of a Sorority Girl" on video, and it was better than I thought it would be!!!
The beautiful Jamie Luner was perfectly cast as Sabrina, the misunderstood new girl at school. The basic story is this...
Sabrina (Jamie Luner) arrives at a new school, which her sister attended a few years before. Everyone expects Sabrina to live up to her sister's high standards, but Sabrina has other plans.
She tries to steal Alyssa Milano's boyfriend (Brian Bloom) and goes to all lengths to embarrass the other girls, until she finally goes too far...
It's a brilliant take on the Good Girl / Bad Girl theme and it is brilliantly done. Set in the fifties, it takes advantage of the fashion and music of that era.
5 Stars!!!

- Erros de gravaçãoIn the beginning driving scene, when Sabrina is arriving on the college campus with the radio on, she stops her car by Brain Bloom and his wagon. Her car is stopped and the radio then shut off by itself without her right hand touching the radio.
