Melek Karakus is an Australian-born Turkish actress, writer, and producer. She began her career as a dancer before transitioning into acting, earning a Certificate IV in Performing Arts in Sydney after majoring in dance and theatre in high school.
As a writer and producer, she created Child Magical, which premiered at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre as part of the Dances With Films Festival. She also starred in the feature film Catalyst, which is now streaming on Apple TV and Prime Video.
Based in Sydney, she splits her time between Australia and Los Angeles, working across film and television both in front of and behind the camera.
