Youssef Tounzi is a Moroccan born television and film Actor. He discovered his passion and affinity for acting while he was only 7 years old. His acting career began shortly after graduating from Drama School and would go on to study different acting performance technique, script and scene analysis in Europe. His credits now include roles in a wide range of television and film projects including:« Bassam in No man's land » (2024) for Hulu « Moukhabarat officer in The Ghost of Beirut » (2023) for Showtime, « king Darius III in Titans of the ancient world » (2023) for History Channel , « Bedad in Coeurs noir » (2023) for Prime Video , Taking advantage of his screen success, Youssef would star in back to back series ,« Syrian Secretary in Le bureau des légendes » (2018) « Isis Fighter in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan » (2018) . Some of his many credits include : « God Forgives » Serie for Al Oula TV (2017) ,« Captive »(2016) Drama-documentary series for Netflix, « Banged Up Abroad » (2016) and « Killing Jesus »(2015) for National Geographic Channel, « The Devil in Finding Jesus »(2015) Drama-documentary series for CNN, and «Village Man in American Odyssey» (2015) series for NBC . Following the success of these series, Youssef was given the opportunity to bring his talents overseas, in « king Apopi in Legend of the Pharaohs » (2021) for canal+ , « Spy guard in Hdidan and Bent lharaz » for 2m Tv (2020) ....
Youssef Is fluent in English, French and Arabic. A lover of transformative work and his innate ability to act in different accents, languages and dialects expanded his appeal and has since made him an international star extending far beyond Morocco.
