STATEMENT I have been into Art and making 'things' for a long time, 30 years. It's been a journey of figuring stuff out, growing to know instinctively how something should be made. I'm still excited when a new project comes in, the process of breaking it into its component parts, the 'Haynes' manual in my head working overtime. I spent 15 of those 30 years building huge luxury homes in the Colorado Rockies. It was like set building on steroids. I learnt a lot out there, good stuff, techniques we use on our sets now that we never used before. Now it's more about the orchestration of the build for me, the patchwork of technicians from so many departments, stitching together their skills producing the great sets we see on our screens. It never gets boring.
