Exclusive: Noah Taylor and Millie Brady have been set to lead UK feature Trash TV, the debut movie of writer-director Danny Lee.

The film, which is now underway, follows a cynical talk show host whose life unravels over a single day on air. While celebrating his 4,000th episode, a tangle of corrosive personal history and bad professional choices collide, dragging Sandy and his show to depths he never contemplated. His young producer, Kate, must pick up the pieces and decide whether she’ll become the next link in the toxic chain of talk show television.

Rounding out the cast are Robert Cavanah (Lockerbie: A Search For The Truth), Rosie Fellner (The Trip To Italy) and Dave Johns.

By the end of season two of Apple TV+’s Surface, Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s Sophie Ellis finally has evidence connecting the Huntley family to her mother’s death, but, in typical Surface fashion, there’s one more twist as she’s ready to present this information to the police.

Clio Barnard, the BAFTA-nominated writer/director behind acclaimed British indie films such as “The Selfish Giant,” “Dark River” and “Ali & Ava,” has set a buzzy ensemble cast for her next feature.

“I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning,” based on the novel of the same name by Keiran Goddard (“Hourglass), will star Anthony Boyle, Joe Cole, Jay Lycurgo, Daryl McCormack and Lola Petticrew.

A streaming soap opera that is addictive due to its bingeable format, glossy production, and high-stakes twists and turns.

It may not be high-brow, but this Veronica West creation gets the job done.

We've been waiting a long time to get the second chapter of Sophie's story in Surface season 2 on Apple TV+, and we're now one step closer thanks to the streamer releasing the highly-anticipated trailer for what comes next. And it actually reveals even more memories and mysteries about the main character than we thought.

Surface season 2 premieres Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 on Apple TV+. The 8-episode season will stream new episodes Fridays until the finale on April 11. In the trailer for the second season of Apple TV+’s psychological thriller Surface, Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s Sophie is still looking to uncover the truth about her past, this time in London.

After season one ended with Sophie embracing her former identity as Tess Caldwell and going back to the U.K. in search of Millie Brady’s Eliza, whose bloody face has been haunting Sophie, the season two trailer finds Sophie still across the pond and having reconnected with Eliza’s posh British family, the Huntleys.

Eliza is shown recalling how Sophie, whom she knows as Tess, used to work at their family’s stables and the two were friends before Tess disappeared.

But Sophie’s not just seeking to reunite with old acquaintances. She’s overheard saying that her mother was murdered when she was very young and that she thinks the Huntleys were involved in her death.

Love You to Death is an upcoming Spanish romantic comedy-drama series created by Dani de la Orden. The Apple TV+ series follows Raúl, a cautious young man who is diagnosed with heart cancer and dumped by his girlfriend. He soon reconnects with his free-spirited childhood friend Marta, who just found out that she is pregnant.

Surface is returning for its second season early next year. Apple TV+ renewed the drama for eight episodes in December 2022, but its return was delayed due to the industry strikes of 2023.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stephan James, Ari Graynor, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, François Arnaud, and Millie Brady star in the thriller series. It follows a woman trying to piece her life together after she suffers a traumatic brain injury. Season two is set in London.

First images for Surface season 2 have revealed new details about Apple TV+'s psychological thriller, including when new episodes get released. Season 1 of the mystery series followed Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Sophie Ellis, a young woman trying to piece together her missing memories after a mysterious injury.

Now, Deadline has released new images from Surface season 2, teasing what's next for the Apple TV+ psychological thriller series. This includes Sophie alongside new images of other characters from the series, including what appears to be James (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) sporting a new look, Eliza (Millie Brady), and a new character, Grace (Freida Pinto). After very little updates when it comes to the premiere date of Surface season 2 starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Apple TV+ recently revealed a release window to tide us over. And now, things get even better! We officially know exactly when the psychological thriller returns and even have some first-look images to go along with it.

Surface, fans. We have some good news for you! The last time we saw a new episode of the psychological thriller starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw was in September 2022 on Apple TV+. Only a few months later in December that year, the streamer announced that it had renewed the show for a season 2. However since then, we've been waiting to see what comes next in the complicated life of Sophie/Tess. Well, we finally have an update.

Surface season 2 premieres sometime in Winter 2025 on Apple TV+, per a press release. I know this is still a bit vague and not an exact release date. But you know what, I'm going to take what I can get at this point because since the streaming service announced the renewal news, we haven't gotten much updates.
