Kristin Mulligan
- Actress
Don't be deceived by her all-American, pretty-girl looks! Kristin is known for her quirky, vivacious and energetic personality. A fearless actress, Kristin actively seeks out acting challenges and is always ready to dive headfirst into any project.
Growing up in a suburb of Seattle, WA, Kristin became addicted to coffee at a very young age, which might have something to do with her perky attitude. A smarty-pants like the rest of her family, she graduated with honors from Mt. Rainier High School and was the captain of her varsity swim team, which served her absolutely no purpose later in life but was very fun at the time.
In college, Kristin decided one degree just wasn't enough and ended up double-majoring in both Theater and Communications. Performing in 10 productions in just 4 years, she was nominated three times for the KCACTF Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship for her roles in Cabaret (Sally Bowles), The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Lala Levy) and the title role in The Woman In Black. As if that wasn't enough time in the spotlight, Kristin graduated summa cum laude in 2005 with departmental awards for both Theater and Communications.
Upon graduation, Kristin was determined to follow her passion for the arts and pursued acting. She lived in Southern California for the next 5 years, performing in regional theaters such as the famous Curtain Call Theater, Candlelight Pavilion, Downey Civic Light Opera, Tustin Civic Light Opera and Tibbies on the R.M.S. Queen Mary. Kristin also starred in a few independent films such as Don't Wake Up and Freefall, which was featured at the 168 Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Since moving to NYC, Kristin has been enjoying a successful career on-camera, starring in several national commercials and dabbling in television as well.
A member of Actors' Equity, Kristin performed on the National Tour of Seussical, directed by Tony-nominee Marcia Milgrom-Dodge. For the past 2 years, Kristin was fortunate to be a part of the National and International Touring USO Show Troupe. She has had the amazing opportunity to perform for the troops alongside Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band (MGM Grand in Las Vegas), with Scotty McCreery (of American Idol fame), and with Academy Award Nominated Kris Kristofferson. She has also had the pleasure of singing aboard the historic tall-ship, The U.S.S. Constitution; singing in Times Square for the Army's Birthday Celebration, and for George W. Bush at the Wounded Warrior Open in Dallas, TX.
