As a live recording engineer, Masaki Araya freelanced twice for The PianoForte Salon Series at Columbia College Chicago on 98.7 WFMT
broadcast live at Sherwood Conservatory of Music in Chicago, IL in 2009. Under Grammy nominated recording engineer, Mary Mazurek, he assisted engineered the pianist, Maya Brodotskaya (February 6, 2009) and violin, cello, and piano trio, Trio Voce (February 27, 2009) performances.
He filled in for engineer, Joshua Sauvageau, on several occasions to record the International Chamber Artists' Clarinet Kaleidoscope performance at St. Gregory The Great church.
As an audio documentation and producer, thanks to Jeremy Richards, his five minute audio documentary, "The Saddest Day" aired on KUOW Presents on 94.9 FM KUOW, an NPR affiliate, in Seattle, WA in 2011.
As a mixing engineer, he mixed the first gospel single by Elliott Bell called "Hallelujah" that was released on April 21, 2015. He also provided additional recordings on a track, "Rain" and was the recording engineer for the track, "In About Water", for the duo called The Fen. At this present time, he is continuing on taking in new projects from previous talents or work with brand new talents and help them hone their skill.
He is set to release a single called Waves of Vasts Dimensions sometime in 2017.
