Unspoken (2018)
Emily Jade Coatman was born on September 3, 1991 in Tasmania, Australia. Both her parents are British, with South African ancestry on her father's side. She has 2 siblings; an older sister and younger brother.

Emily started at Helen O'Grady's Children's Drama Academy at age 4 and continued her involvement in Drama throughout her schooling.

In 2010, Tasmania's first Screen Acting Academy opened and Emily was successful in securing a placement to train with Sara Cooper. Within a year Emily had her first paid acting job at as a lead in 'Choose A Ride', an Australian Interactive Educational film about youth drink driving and car theft. Ruby Rose also played a small role in this.

Shortly after, Emily was employed as a professional actor by the Round Earth Company in both Australia's longest running play, 'The Ship that Never Was' and also as a theatrical tour guide on the historically rich penal settlement, Sarah Island.

At 20, Emily was selected as one of 11 Australian actors to study in Los Angeles, California as part of the Hollywood Immersive acting program with Australian casting agent Lilly Dawson. While in LA Emily studied at Margie Haber's Studios, and was also tutored by and mingled with industry professionals such as Fern Champion, Eden Harman Bernardy, Tim Bagley, Margie Haber, and Ivy Isenberg.

In 2013 Emily was accepted into both Screenwise Acting Studio in Sydney and 16th Street Actors Studio in Melbourne. She decided to relocate to Melbourne where she commenced her study in the part-time program at 16th Street Actors Studio.

After moving to Melbourne, Emily secured acting representation and was cast in her first featured role in 'Fat Tony & Co' TV series, staring Robert Mammone.

At the age of 24, Emily began working as a Talent Agent at Real People Victoria and has represented and booked actors on numerous TV series, films and TV Commercials.

Emily is residing in Melbourne, Australia but will be moving to the United Kingdom in mid 2020 to continue her acting.
