Paul K Gjenvick
Paul Gjenvick was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the middle child of a
Fortune 500 executive. He grew up in New Hope, Minnesota and graduated
from Minnesota State University at Mankato with a Bachelors Degree in
Accounting. Paul moved to Atlanta in 1988.
In the early 1990s, a costume designer friend submitted a portrait photograph to an agent of Starlight Productions. They liked the photograph and placed him in his first movie, "Silent Victim" in 1991. He later was represented by William Reynolds Agency during the early 1990s and appeared in three more films. In the late 1970s and early 1980s Paul was a guitarist for the rock band "River" and is also an accomplished keyboard artist.
In 2000, Paul founded the Gjenvick-Gjønvik Archives covering immigration, steamships, WPA and Military (primarily the U.S. Navy) and has supplied historical images to production companies World Wide. Still images from the Gjenvick-Gjønvik Archives were featured in the Discovery Channel production of Treasure Quest: The Silver Queen - the story of the recovery of silver from the WWI era steamship R.M.S. Laconia of the Cunard Line.
Paul makes his home near Atlanta, Georgia.
