Despite the micro budget, the coming-of-age drama enjoyed screenings at film festivals worldwide including PÖFF: The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, it was nominated for the Gryphon Award at the Giffoni Film Festival, and won the Jury Award for Best Narrative Feature Film at the Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival.
