Helena Blackman

Helena is an actress and singer based in London, UK. She grew up in Southampton, Hampshire and gained a scholarship to The Guildford School of Acting where she graduated with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. As well as her acting credits, theatre roles include Eliza in My Fair Lady, Maria in The Sound of Music and Milly Pontipee in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Helena is a classically trained singer and has appeared as a soloist on the West End; at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall; and internationally. Her work has lead her to sing on many albums for artists and composers as well as on television. She released her own album The Sound of Rodgers & Hammerstein in 2011 and you can listen to many of her recordings via all the usual streaming circles. Helena's also had a brief encounter with reality television when she appeared and came second place in the BBC 1 hit show, 'How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria' for Andrew Lloyd Webber.
