After "The One: Making A Music Star" was cancelled, Austin moved out to
Los Angeles and began his career as a songwriter. Huge hit songwriter
Kara DioGuardi (also a judge on the show) took him under her wing &
gave him a publishing deal with her prolific publishing company
Arthouse Entertainment. Austin had his first major cut "Better Off
Alone" placed on Katharine McPhee's self titled debut album. We have
