We could not be more excited about Debbie Rochon's upcoming directorial debut, Model Hunger. Currently in post-production, the project has released some new stills and also just added an incredible talent: composer Harry Manfredini.

That's right, the man behind all those classic Friday the 13th soundtracks will be scoring Model Hunger, which is due out in 2014.

Sun Choke Begins Production: “Janie (Hagan) is just trying to get well. As Janie recovers from a recent violent psychotic break, she’s subjected each day to a bizarre holistic health and wellness regimen designed, and enforced, by her lifelong nanny and caretaker, Irma (Crampton). Janie begins to veer off the road to recovery when she develops an obsession with a young woman, Savannah (Lane), which Janie feels an inexplicable yet profound connection to. You’ve seen him as Sir Gwaine in the BBC’s TV series Merlin, now Eoin Macken steps behind the camera to direct The Inside, featuring Czech starlet Tereza Srbova (Sirens, Eastern Promises) alongside the cream of Irish acting talent that includes Emmett J. While in a pawnshop a young man comes into possession of a second hand video camera; discovering a tape still inside he plays back the footage and witnesses a horrific series of events involving a group of teens in an undisclosed location. Using the footage as a guide he retraces the steps to where the events seemingly occurred. Deciding to investigate he discovers to his horror not only the truth of the events on the tape but comes face to face with a supernatural terror from which he may not escape…...

Irish feature film 'The Inside' will receive its world premiere at Film4's Frightfest on August 26 in London. The psychological horror is one of three Irish films screening at the UK festival with Conor McMahon's 'Stitches' and Jon Wright's 'Grabbers' also set to be shown. 'The Inside' marks actor and cinematographer Eoin Macken's feature film directorial debut and stars 'Charlie Casanova' actor Emmett J. Scanlan and Czech actress Tereza Srbova (St. Trinian's). In addition to Dublin-born Scanlan, a number of Irish actors star, including Karl Argue (Where the Sea Used to be), Kellie Blaise (The Borgias), Siobhan Cullen (The Clinic), Brian Fortune (Game of Thrones), Sean Stewart (Swan Song: Story of Occi Byrne) and Liam Heffron also feature. Jen Moynan provided the costumes on set, while Nadai Macari was the makeup artist.

We just got the trailer for a new horror movie called Wrath of the Crows from Italian director Ivan Zuccon. And, boy, this flick appears to have everything fans of Eurohorror could possibly ask for: mutilation, nudity, gore, degradation, torture, grue-filled kills, moody lighting and, of course, opaque dark symbolism that probably means something, but who cares when you have all the mutilation, nudity, gore, degradation, torture and grue-filled kills.

Oh, I should also mention the best reason to see it: Wrath of the Crows stars Tiffany Shepis and Debbie Rochon!

Joining Rochon and Shepis in this Eurohorrific bloodbath are Tara Cardinal, the gifted up-and-coming scream queen; Domiziano Arcangeli, the noted Italian-American actor; Brian Fortune, an Irish actor recently seen on Game of Thrones; and Suzi Lorraine, another talented horror actress who's been working her ass off lately.

Irish actors Stephen Don (Wilderness, Omagh) and Brian Fortune (Marú, The Bee Keeper's Son) have joined the cast of HBO's epic 'Game of Thrones'. The actors will join other newly announced cast and crew members such as Oscar winning English composer Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Billy Elliot) who will write the original music and score for the film, Emmy nominated American director Tim Van Patten (The Sopranos, Rome) and English actor Ian Gelder (Torchwood, Robin Hood).
