Eddy Toru Ohno

Eddy is a NY base actor who appeared on feature films including "Pistol Whipped" with Steven Seagal, "13" with Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke, and "Old Dogs" with Robin Williams and John Travolta. After those opportunities, he had to go back to Japan to take care of his father. So he started involving himself in theater productions as a producer in Tokyo for a few years. And he came back to NY to resume acting again and appeared on "Gotham" (FOX) and "Iron Fist" (Netflix). He also worked in lead roles including a feature documentary film "8:15 Hiroshima" which received Audience Award in Nashville Film Festival.
In his early year, Eddy worked with Mako (Academy Award, Tony Award nominee) and learned from his teachers, Katharine Sergava (Laurey, the heroine, in the premiere of "Oklahoma!" ) and Terry Schreiber (directed the Tony Award-winning play "K2") And they became his mentors in stage acting where he also spent his time with "Heisei Nakamuraza" (Lincoln Center Summer Festival), Pan Asian Repertory Theater and Haruna Lee's OBIE Award winning play, "Suicide Forest" (The Bushwick Starr, A.R.T./ New York Theater) directed by Aya Ogawa (OBIE Award play, "The Nosebleed")
Eddy is a very dedicated martial artist who has been training over 25 years and teaches traditional Japanese Karate at World Seido Karate Organization.
