Ovidiu Marginean was born in Reghin, in the region of Transilvania, in
1973. He began his career in television and studied at National Film
University in Bucharest, where he worked as student DoP for the
talented director Cristian Nemescu. After 2000 started to work in
features as camera operator and cinematographer both for international
and local productions. In 2011 has received the Best Cinematography
Award at Cyprus International Film Festival for "Europolis"(2010).
