Scott C. Wilson has edited over 100 music videos (from Amy Grant to W.A.S.P.) along with a wide variety of TV shows including Rock Star: INXS, The Rolling Stones "Stripped," and Sting ...all this time (for which he won an Emmy Award for editing in 2002.) Films include CB4 (music videos), and Under the Electric Sky (musical performances). As an editor, Scott specializes in music related projects including Music Videos, Documentaries, Films, Concerts, TV Shows, Film Trailers, Commercials, TV Promos, and Montage Packages. Both Amy Grant's "Baby Baby" (1991) and John Mayer's "Your Body is a Wonderland" (2003) were nominated for MTV Video Music Awards.
Musician: Scott Wilson has released 4 albums (and multiple singles), plays guitar, bass, and sings lead and backing vocals. Scott regularly contributes musical or mix elements to augment his editing projects, including music cues for VH1 Behind the Music, final program mixes for Rock Star: INXS, and beats and sound textures for Under the Electric Sky, a 3D documentary film for the 2013 Electric Daisy Carnival that was screened at Sundance in January 2014.
As a music producer/engineer, Scott has produced his own music (and music videos) as well as producing and engineering music for indie artists in Los Angeles and San Diego. Scott records music using Pro Tools HD, Digital Perfomer, Logic Pro, etc. in a full 5.1 recording studio that doubles as a 4K video editing suite. Scott also regularly supervises mixes for his editing projects including Sting ...all this time, which was nominated for an Emmy Award for Sound Mixing in 2002 (Scott supervised the 5.1 documentary sound mix for the project.)
