Biography

David Nieker first walked on screen 1986 as Goon #2 in Goldie Hawn's football classic, Wildcats, and trained at the early ImprovOlympic under legends Charna Halpern and Del Close. Since 2010, he's been doing what he's wanted to do his whole life: making people laugh, as a performer at stand up comedy at clubs and festivals throughout the United States.

Like his look, his comic take is uncommon and unflinching, landing punchlines that span an emotional distance between his heroes, Rodney Dangerfield and Mr. Mike. He became a member of SAG-AFTRA in 2014, and has been seen in sketches on Jimmy Kimmel Live and CONAN, as a Woodsman in David Lynch's Twin Peaks: The Return, 2017. He's also been featured in a Justin Timberlake music video. His debut comedy album, "Unshavable" can be heard wherever music streams.
