Aleksandr Slastin

Aleksandr Vladimirovich Slastin was born in 1942, in the USSR. Since
1961 he was a professional actor with several theatre troupes in the
soviet Union. In 1968, Slastin became permanent member of the Leningrad
Music Hall. That same year he made his film debut as Galitsky in
Knyaz Igor (1969).
Aleksandr Slastin has been a permanent member of Baltiysky Dom Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia. There his stage partners were such actors as Era Ziganshina, Tatyana Piletskaya, Irina Konopatskaya, Klavdiya Belova, Nadezhda Maltseva, Regina Lialeikite, Natalya Popova, Nataliya Nesterova, Roman Gromadskiy, Igor Tikhonenko, Vladimir Tykke, and other notable Russian actors.
Aleksandr Slastin was designated the title of Honorable Artist of Russia. He is best known for the leading role in 'Banditsky Peterburg' (2000) a popular Russian TV series. He currently resides in St. Petersburg, Russia.
