    Stage and cabaret performer who appeared in occasional films. A star in pre-war Berlin at Werner Fincks political cabaret "Die Katakombe". After 1945, with "Der Ulenspiegel" and "Schwarzen Jahrmarkt", again in Berlin. Also a successful radio actress with station RIAS and German dubbing voice for Elsa Lanchester, Miriam Hopkins and Maureen O'Sullivan. Moved to London following her marriage to British journalist and BBC general director Hugh Carleton Greene (as Lady Tatjana Greene).
