    • Webb Pierce was born on August 8, 1921 in West Monroe, Louisiana, USA. He was an actor, known for Ad Astra (2019), Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021) and The Help (2011). He died on February 24, 1991 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

  • Country singer.
  • Elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001.
  • Recorded his famous hit song, "In the Jailhouse Now" with legendary Nashville session guitarist Hank Garland. It was number 1 on the charts for 21 weeks in a row in 1955.
  • He was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 1600 Vine Street in Hollywood, California.
  • Inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
