Lenora May

Lenora May, a native New Yorker, earned a BFA studying theatre at the
University of Miami. Added to a long list of credits, Lenora portrays
Dr.Alana Chertoff on ABC's "Mistresses" as well as Pamela Raymond on
"The Young and the Restless" and most recent guest star appearance as
Phyllis Hayes in "Scandal". More TV appearances include, "Grey's
Anatomy", "Twisted", "Harry's Law", "Diary of an American Teenager",
"Hart of Dixie", "Medium", "ER", "Criminal Minds", "Ugly Betty", "X
Files", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and some oldies, "Island Son", "Cop
Rock" and "Little House on the Prairie". Films include, "Confessions of
a Shopaholic", "Knifepoint", "When a Stranger Calls", "The Most
Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green", "House II", "Promises in the
Dark" and "Jaws II". TV movies include starring roles in "Fantasies",
"Living Proof", "Hobson's Choice" and 'Missing Children". Pilots
include, "Hollywood Dog", and "Pink Collar". Lenora has starred in
several theatre productions such as, Emily in "Our Town", originating
the role of Bianca in "Leave of Absence" which became the first college
production to perform at the New Dramatists Theatre in NYC. Fellow
classmates co-star included actor Ray Liotta. In addition, she
originated the role of Carol, in the west coast premiere of "North of
Providence" at the Ensemble Studio Theatre. Lenora has starred in
productions of "Bus Stop" and "The Immigrant" and most recently
portrayed Josephine in the premiere of "Raise me up" at the Santa
Monica Playhouse. Of special note, Lenora performed her one woman show,
"Eli's Birthday", which depicts the true story of growing up with her
single mom's 5 marriages and numerous boyfriends, playing 29
characters. Lenora is now producing the film version of the play co
written by Emmy winner, Craig Heller entitled, "Beginning". She is also
producing the film "Spillville", the true story of composer Antonin
Dvorak's trip to Spillville Iowa in 1893, in collaboration with
producer, Vanessa Greene.
