Gareth is an award winning freelance editor based in London, England with over 25 years of experience. During his career he has worked with some of the best talents in comedy, documentary and British film. His work has won numerous BAFTA, RTS and EMMY awards.
He edited every episode of the hit BBC comedy series 'People Just Do Nothing' as it journeyed from 'comedy newcomers' to BAFTA winners to the feature film 'People Just Do Nothing: Big In Japan' released in 2021.
Other work includes 'Facejacker', Michaela Cole's 'Chewing Gum', Greg Davies 'The Cleaner', Babycow's 'The Witchfinder', Merman's 'There She Goes', 'Such Brave Girls for A24 and other comedy projects with Samson Kayo, Kat Sadler, Caroline Moran, Simon Bird & Charlie Brooker.
Alongside comedy he has worked on many documentary films often collaborating with multi award winning director Morgan Mathews. Feature documentaries include 'Shooting Bigfoot' and 'When Harry Left Hogwarts'. Other documentary projects include the EMMY award winning episode of Educating Yorkshire that saw Musharaf overcome his stammer.
As a staff member he worked through the ranks at Framestore, London where he met first time film director Christopher Nolan. Subsequently he worked for Blue Turtle Pictures and London Post before he turned freelance and started to focus on comedy projects
