Biography

    • Brooks is a character actor who began his career in the 1980s with an episode on the action-crime drama series "T.J. Hooker". He also appeared in the 1986 [Arnold] Schwarzenegger actioner "Raw Deal". His screen appearances are mostly tied with television, including series such as "MacGyver", "Dallas", "Guns of Paradise", "Renegade" and "Walker, Texas Ranger". Brooks has even lent his voice to animated series beginning with "The New Batman Adventures" in 1998 as the voice of Killer Croc. His second round in voice-work was with a 2008 episode on "American Dad!"

Trivia

  • He was a well respected music/voice teacher in the 1970s at the West High school in Rockford, Illinois.
  • In 1986 and 1987 he played a bad guy in two modern Western action movies based heavily on the Alan Ladd classic Shane. The first Quiet Cool, and then Malone.
