Last Day on Earth

Any tension that built up over the course of the episode was soiled just slightly by the crazy amount of commercials they decided to air. The episode dragged on until the last ten minutes, when they tried to fit in as much tension as possible before leaving loyal viewers on a cliffhanger. It's just cheap marketing, and it really betrays the sheer amount of talent they have on the show. Andrew Lincoln and Jeffrey Dean Morgan killed it in their respective roles, they were incredibly gripping and the ending scene had just so much potential... Greg Nicotero usually directs just really excellent episodes, but I can't help but feel like the potential impact this could have had was just tossed aside.
