Which Way to Oz

Very proud if this little piece . It sadly was too soon for the mostly older animators who dominate the Oscar short film voting - it got with in last 20 but they felt the language and subject matter to heavy . It was shot in one day thanks to much help- Natasha Hentstridge and Frank marshal and Kathleen kennedy provided about 10 k in cash and Solomon king gave us a set. Gideon Burkheart played the Mexican ,not mentioned on cast list I notice . We shot 35mm baby - I did discover how hard to produce and star- keeping ur head in the dark place required for this part . Elton john kindly let's us have permission for yellow brick road , god bless him and all who worked on this little dark piece about a crack head , in a crack house . Please note that it was the first to have a guy dancing with a dead girl - just saying !! The crack epidemic was still somewhat mysterious to the public - I am going to try and get a dvd and upload to you tube - 🙏
