This is a fun ride of a movie with excellent writing and acting. The memorable characters and quotes make this a must see for the lover of the smart romantic comedy featuring young african-americans in love. I would recommend it to anyone.
I'd like to compliment the writer and director John Fisher for the effort he put into this movie. I'm not judging this movie by industry standards but by effort. It's obvious it's a low budget movie, so I won't and can't judge it on the same level as a major production. But he does create believable characters, situations and conversations that everyday people can relate to.
Perry and Stephanie's relationship can be considered the typical young person's romance- trying to find that perfect match, yet not quite sure how to accomplish it. When Perry needed counseling regarding his relationship with Stephanie, Joseph was Perry's rational conscience, while D'Angelo was Perry's carnal conscience. John Fisher creates an interactive atmosphere with his audience- combined with the dialogue- that will have you laughing and speaking back to the characters or situations and asking yourself, "Is that me?!?" I would recommend this movie to anyone that has been involved in a relationship- whether going steady, engaged or married. I give it a nine. It's a relevant and intelligent comedy.

Normally I avoid "relationships" movies, but this sharply written little indie entertained me and even had me laughing. A new director and a cast of fresh faces bring energy and inventiveness to the material. It's always rewarding to see a film succeeding without the big budget crutch (and familiar faces) that Hollywood relies on.
