Composer Richard Einhorn's website
Howlin’ Wolf Records is proud to present Richard Einhorn's unnerving score for the 1979 shocker DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE.
The score for DON’T GO IN THE HOUSE is another innovative electronic composition from the classically trained composer Richard Einhorn. Einhorn used a sophisticated array of synthesizers from the era to create the foreboding atmosphere required for the horrors awaiting in the Kohler house. The story illustrates, with uncomfortably disturbing realism, the destructive and often terrifying consequences that manifest as a part of the cyclic natures of trauma and abuse.
DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE features the original archival recording, remastered by Ian Zapczynski from the original master tapes, including several bonus tracks from Richard Einhorn’s personal archives. With liner notes titled “Conversations with Richard Einhorn” by Album Producer Ian Zapczynski, the packaging is rich with a vibrant pallet of colors brought to life like a wildfire through original cover art by renowned artist Simon Sherry, all beautifully crafted with packaging designs and startling imagery by acclaimed Howlin’ Wolf Records Art Director Luis Miguel Rojas.
