A stretch of 35th Avenue in Evans — from 49th Street to Sagebrush Boulevard — will be closed through at least April 14 as crews work to install a gas main.

During the closure, residents will still be able to access the Cave Creek neighborhood at Sagebrush Boulevard, according to a city social media post.

The city said Miller Pipeline — a subcontractor for Atmos Energy — is installing the main, which will run from 49th Street to a substation roughly 1,200 feet to the north.
