The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, delivered a speech at this morning’s signing ceremony in Bagnoli for the memorandum of understanding between the Government and the Special Commissioner for Bagnoli-Coroglio, regarding completion of the measures included in the district’s environmental clean-up and urban regeneration programme.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. The call focused on the excellent bilateral cooperation between Italy and Serbia which, 15 years on from the signing of the Strategic Partnership Declaration, has increasing room for further consolidation in all areas of common interest.

I am following with apprehension the updates from Pennsylvania, where the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump was shot during a rally. I am sending him my solidarity and best wishes for a speedy recovery, and it is my hope that the next few months of the election campaign will see dialogue and responsibility prevail over hatred and violence.
