Python | Pandas DatetimeIndex.microsecond

Python is a great language for doing data analysis, primarily because of the fantastic ecosystem of data-centric python packages. Pandas is one of those packages and makes importing and analyzing data much easier. Pandas DatetimeIndex.microsecond attribute outputs an Index object containing the microsecond values present in each of the entries of the DatetimeIndex object.

Syntax: DatetimeIndex.microsecond Return: Index containing microsecond.

Example #1: Use DatetimeIndex.microsecond attribute to find the microsecond value present in the DatetimeIndex object. Python3

# importing pandas as pd
import pandas as pd

# Create the DatetimeIndex
# Here 'U' represents microseconds
didx = pd.DatetimeIndex(start ='2014-08-01 10:05:45', freq ='U',
                              periods = 5, tz ='Asia/Calcutta')

Output : Now we want to find all the microseconds value present in the DatetimeIndex object. Python3
