numpy.ma.MaskedArray class is a subclass of ndarray designed to manipulate numerical arrays with missing data. With the help of Numpy MaskedArray.__floordiv__ operator we can divide a particular value that is provided as a parameter to this function.
Syntax: numpy.MaskedArray.__floordiv__ Return: Divide other into self, and return a new masked array.
Example #1 : In this example we can see that after applying MaskedArray.__floordiv__(), we get the floor value of every element that is divided in an array. This method will work fine for positive, negative and floating point values of an array. Python3 1==
# import the important module in python
import numpy as np

# make an array with numpy
gfg = np.ma.array([1, 2.5, 3, 4.8, 5])

# applying MaskedArray.__floordiv__() method
print(gfg.__floordiv__(2))
Output:
[0.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 2.0]
  Example #2: Python3 1==
# import the important module in python
import numpy as np

# make an array with numpy
gfg = np.ma.array([[1, 2, 3, 4.45, 5],
                [6, 5.5, 4, 3, 2.62]])

# applying MaskedArray.__floordiv__() method
print(gfg.__floordiv__(3))
Output:
[[0.0 0.0 1.0 1.0 1.0]
 [2.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 0.0]]
