NumberFormat setMinimumFractionDigits() method in Java with Examples

The setMinimumFractionDigits() method is a built-in method of the java.text.NumberFormat which sets the minimum number of digits allowed in the fraction portion of a number.If the new value for minimumFractionDigits is less than the current value of maximumFractionDigits, then maximumFractionDigits will also be set to the new value. Syntax:

public void setMinimumFractionDigits(int val)

Parameters: The function accepts a mandatory parameter val which specifies the minimum value to be set. Return Value: The function returns nothing, hence has a return type void. Below is the implementation of the above function: Program 1:
